We understand standards

NimbusDS software works with any directory server that supports LDAP v3 such as Microsoft Active Directory, Novell eDirectory, OpenLDAP and OpenDJ. Virtual and federated directories are also supported.

All web interfaces speak JSON and can seamlessly handle cross-domain requests by means of W3C CORS.

3 April 2012 The first public release of Nimbus JWT 1.8 which is a JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation for Java with support for signatures (JWS), encryption (JWE) and web keys (JWK).

28 March 2012 Released Json2Ldap 2.3 which makes UTF-8 the default encoding for all textual directory attributes. Also gives web clients complete control over binary data encoding.

15 March 2012 Our OpenID/Connect implementation is advancing, one bit at a time. As a side-project we began work on a open source library for handling JSON Web Tokens (JWS) in Java. It will also cover the complementary JSON Web Signature (JWS), JSON Web Encryption (JWE) and JSON Web Key (JWK) standards.

6 March 2012 We have a new QA guy on our team. It was a bit unexpected, but his views and feedback on software quality, development and interaction with customers are truly amazing!

27 February 2012 NimbusDS AuthService received a major overhaul. In now supports Json2Ldap backends, retrieval of multi-valued user attributes and LDAP connection provisioning.

11 February 2012 Started a new project with a customer to enable the JsonSSO service to act as an OpenID/Connect IdP and IdC. This project is a major undertaking for our SSO product and will bring significant changes to its API and many of its internals. We expect to have the protocol implemented by the end of Q2 2012.
