You have probably noticed that our products make exclusive use of web friendly JSON APIs. These were crafted for maximum simplicity. The underlying software is written in Java, an established industry technology.

Matured and proven in the enterprise, the LDAP directory can add significant strategic advantage to a modern service provider: a centralised user store, with many built-in authentication and access controls, and attractive options for high-availability and multi-master replication.

Nimbus Directory Services is based in Bulgaria and in London. It is part of a larger quest to provide innovative organisational and people solutions to businesses worldwide.

The NimbusDS software line was devised by Vladimir Dzhuvinov who spun the precursor of Json2Ldap off a successful IT project, turning it into a product in its own right in 2010. Json2Ldap was later complemented with matching lean web services for authentication, single sign-on (SSO) and session management.

Today NimbusDS works on improving customer focus; in terms of software on improving horizontal scaling and high-availability of existing solutions to support even the most demanding web and SaaS operations.
